Weekly Wrap Up 31 Dec-6 Jan

Hey guys, this is my first weekly wrap up of the year and it is a good one 😀 At the end of last year I stopped doing my weekly wrap ups and that was because I got into a huge reading slump so I really didn’t have anything to wrap up, but I am finally out of it now and back to posting regularly (thank goodness). I read an amazing book this week that I had been putting off for years!! and now that I have read it I cant believe that I had left it so long. So anyway lets get into what books I read this week;

What I Read This Week

this savage song

This Savage Song by V. E. Schwab

This is my first read of the year and I absolutely loved it and gave it five stars!! This was an awesome way to start off my reading year and I am so glad that I finally got to this book. I loved Victoria Schwab’s writing, it flowed really well and was really easy to read, which was one of the things that I worried about before reading it. This book was so exciting, it was full of politics, drama, and monsters! This book was also a lot more brutal than I expected and I loved that about it. I am so excited to read the next book in this duology although I will have to wait until it fits into one of my TBR’s 😀 I will have a full review up for this book tomorrow, I will leave a link here when it’s up if you are interested in my full thoughts.

What I Am Currently Reading

happily ever after

Happily Ever After by Kiera Cass

I am 50 pages into this book and I am linking it so far, the first story is from Amberly’s perspective during the time when she was in the selection and it gives so much backstory into the king and queen’s lives. I always love getting backstories from the supposed villain to see how they became that way. This so far is a three star book since I am enjoying it but its just okay, I will have to see how much I like the other stories 🙂

What did you guys read this week? Let me know if you have read any of these books and what you thought of them

Thank you for reading!
