Anticipated Releases | Jul, Aug & Sep

Hey guys, there are some pretty exciting books coming out in the next few months so I thought that it would be fun to talk about them with you all. There are probably a few others that I have forgotten or that I just haven’t heard of, so if you guys have any other ones let me know because I love having more new releases to read 😀 I have also done this in video form as well if you would like to watch it there I will leave a link here. So lets get into the books that I am really excited for that are being release in the next three months;

Record of a Spaceborn Few by Becky Chambers – July 26

This is the third book in the Wayfarer series that I just recently started this month. This is a full on science fiction series that has so many species, cultures and planets as well as some very high tech gadgets. As this is the third book I don’t know for sure which characters we follow or what the storyline is but I am just happy to have anything that is set in this world. I received a copy of this book for review from Netgalley and I am really excited to get to it and probably will before the release date.

Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J Maas – August 7

I don’t know a whole lot about this series other than that it is a part of the DC re-imagined series that a few authors are writing books for. I love Sarah J Maas’ books and will read anything that she writes, I also love DC so this is a prefect combination for me 😀

These Rebel Waves by Sara Raasch – August 7

I have skimmed over the synopsis for this book just because I don’t want to know too much about it, but it is full of magic and overthrowing a kingdom, it seems full of intrigue and politics which really interests me. The main reason that I am excited for this book is because I really enjoyed Sara Raasch’s Snow Like Ashes series and I really want to read something else from her.

Nightblood by Elly Blake – August 21

This is the third book in the Frostblood series that I unfortunately haven’t even started yet but will be getting to soon. This book is full of elemental magic, politics, and Elly Blake has said that she took inspiration from Avatar: The Last Airbender so that just seals the deal for me. I am planning to marathon this series as soon as Nightblood comes out and I am very excited for it 😀

City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab – August 28

This is a middle grade book from Victoria Schwab and I am really excited for it. Our main character is a girl who can see ghosts and her parents are ghost hunters, this seems full of magic and I am so excited for it. I have quite a few Victoria Schwab books on my shelf but they are all either high fantasy or adult books and I really think that starting with my first book from her being middle grade will make it so much easier to get into all of them.

Wildcard by Marie Lu – September 18

This is my most exciting release of the year! This is the second and I think last book in the Warcross series. This series is science fiction and set in a very high tech world where we follow the virtual reality game Warcross. I read the first book a couple of months ago and absolutely loved it and cannot wait to see what happens next in this world.

Vengeful by V. E. Schwab – September 25

This is the second book in the Villians series by V. E. Schwab. I do own Vicious but have yet to read it. This is the most intimidating book of Victoria Schwab’s for me but I am really hoping to get to them very soon.

Let me know what some of your anticipated releases are for the next few months 😀

Thank you for reading!
