Top 5 Books I’d Save From A Fire | T5T

Hey guys its Top 5 Tuesday time again so lets talk about some well loved books of mine. This meme is hosted by Shanah over at the Bionicbookworm and each week we get a bookish topic to talk about. This week the topic is top 5 books I’d save from a fire. This topic gave me so many good memories as I really thought about the books that I own and what they all mean to me as well as how I felt while reading them all. If I’m being honest it wasn’t that hard for me to choose a top 5 from all of the over 500 that I own, just because these books really stand out as my all time favourites for one reason or another. Anyway lets get on to talking about some of my most beloved books;

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

23395680

This is my favourite book of all time! I absolutely love it for so many reasons. I love the formatting of this book it really makes it so interesting to read. It also really seems like a science fiction movie just written down and it is so easy to read that it just feels like a movie. It was the book that got me into science fiction and started my love of the genre. My copy is also signed by both of the authors which makes it even more special for me.

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas

This was hands down my favourite book in this series. I have read it twice now and I can see myself reading it many many more times 😀 it just makes me so happy and there are so many great moments with all of our favourite characters! I loved watching so many things come together and getting a lot of revelations it just really stepped up the series for me and made me love it so much more.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

9781743515860

I first read this book when I was in high school as the book that we were studying in English and I absolutely fell in love with it. I have lost count of how many times I have read this book but every time that I do it still gives me goose bumps and makes me cry. I loved getting to go so in depth into this book and it really made it stick with me so much more.

The Host by Stephenie Meyer

Once again I has lost track of how many times I have read this book. When I was a teenager I absolutely loved it and so it really holds a special place for me. Even re-reading it now I love it and it is still on my list of all time favourite books.

The Winner’s Kiss by Marie Rutkoski

20443235

This is another one of my all time favourite books. It was the perfect ending to an amazing series that I will be re-reading in the near future. There is just so much going on in this novel; friendship, relationships, espionage, war, so much tactical planning. We see so many things that we had been waiting forever for come together and it just made me so happy 🙂

I cannot wait to read the other posts for this topic and I hope that you enjoyed reading mine 🙂 until next time

Thank you for reading!

    Awesome list Robyn! I just picked up Illuminae from a used bookstore on the cheap and am really looking forward to reading it. The formatting looks super interesting and your mini review is making me want to pick it up even sooner than I had planned!

    The winner’s curse trilogy is on my tbr, haven’t had the chance to read it yet. I would save the entire illuminae trilogy but if needed to choose one, I’d take Obsidio
