Top 5 Books I Didn’t Like That Others Loved | T5T

Hi guys it’s Tuesday again so we have another Top 5 Tuesday topic to talk about. This meme was created by Shanah from the Bionicbookworm. I have been loving participating in this meme since we get some really cool topics to talk about with everyone else. This weeks topic isΒ top 5 books I didn’t like that others loved, I found this topic to be really hard since I don’t often read books that I don’t think that I will like, I tried my best but could only come up with four that I can remember really not liking, as opposed to books that I liked at the time but that I wouldn’t like if I read them now. So here we go;

Every Day by David Levithan

13262783

A lot of people seem to love this book but I really didn’t enjoy it. The idea of this book sounded really cool in theory but the execution didn’t live up to my expectations. I found it to be quite boring as nothing seemed to happen and we never really get to learn much about all of the bodies that A inhibits. If you guys are interested in my full thoughts on this book I have a full review here.

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

I really didn’t like this book when I read it although that was a very long time ago. But I just remember it being quite boring and the characters being really annoying. I also never really liked the idea of her leaving a suicide note that blames so many others for her death when she never took any opportunities to seek help for herself.

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatric

I read this book back when I was a teenager and at the time I thought that it was okay, not great but readable but now looking back on it I really don’t like it. I don’t actually know if a lot of other people enjoy this book but it has a 3.99 rating on Goodreads so some people have to like it.

Scales of Empire by Kylie Chan

This book hasn’t been reviewed a whole lot yet but most of the reviews have been giving it four or five stars and I really didn’t enjoy it. I have done a full review of this book if you are interested in reading it here.

Thank you for reading
