Weekly Wrap Up 5-11 Feb

So this week wasn’t the best for reading again which was really just because of my book choice unfortunately. I have kind of gone down hill with my reading and I would love to get back on track and I am really hoping that my current read will help with that 🙂 Since I haven’t read much this week this will be a short wrap up so here we go;

What I Read This Week

Every Day by David Levithan

I really wanted to enjoy this book but I ended up giving it three out of five stars. It wasn’t really what I had excepted and I found it to be quite slow going. It took me a long time to read this book as well because I really wasn’t enjoying it. If you would like to read my full thoughts on this book you can read my review here. I am really hoping that I enjoy the movie more than the book but if I am being honest it has kind of put me off reading it.

What I Am Currently Reading

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

I have had this book on my TBR for the longest time and when I finished Every Day after not enjoying it I really wanted to pick up something that I would love. I read over this synopsis again and that just decided it for me and I started reading it straight away. I am only about 100 pages in but already I love all of the intrigue around this circus and the magic system. From the moment I read that first page I had goosebumps and I have been enthralled ever since. I cannot wait to read more of it, which I am actually going to do straight after this 🙂

So that is all that I read this week, not very much and definitely not one of my better reading weeks book wise, but I am really hoping that it will pick up with The Night Circus. I am planning on reading books that I know that I will love even if they are huge or intimidating in some other way. What did you guys read this week?

Thank you for reading
