Weekly Wrap Up 15-21 Jan

So this week the Winter Biannual Bibliothon started and honesty I haven’t read as much as I should. I have been rather busy this week, I’m moving at the moment so I am packing up the house and trying to organise everything that needs to be done but I am also very excited to be moving to our new place 🙂 On the weekend I also went to a musical and book club which took up a lot of my time so I only really got to read while on the train. Unfortunately I didn’t finish Windwitch before the bibliothon started so that took up the first day but I really wanted to finish it off before starting anything else so that I didn’t forget what was happening. So here is what I read this week;

Books I Read This Week

Windwitch by Susan Denard

So I finished this book on Saturday the first day of the read-a-thon and I did really enjoy it although not as much as the first book. I still love the characters and the plot of this book was really interesting but I was hoping for some different things to happen. I am writing up a review now so it should be up by the end of the day (hopefully!)

Book I Am Currently Reading

The Next Together by Lauren James

I started this book yesterday and I am around 100 pages in. I am really enjoying it so far, I love it when authors use emails, notes or newspaper clippings in their novels as it always makes it more interactive and interesting to read. I do however find it kind of disorienting how we switch back and forth between the time periods so often but I am getting more used to it now.

That’s all that I read this week. I am hoping that next week I will read a lot more since I have to finish four books within the week 🙂 so fingers crossed that I make it.

What did you guys read this week?
